| David Nelson with Jarnel Crane Rental, is an accredited National
Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) Practical
Examiner, and is approved to administer testing,
both written and practical, for
crane operator certification. Currently West Virginia requires
CCO Certification and the District of Columbia requires crane
operators to be Licensed, and it is anticipated that Maryland and
Pennsylvania will soon be among the states requiring certification.
He administers testing for both Certification and
Recertification. Our facility is different than most testing
facilities in that we offer a flexible
testing schedule that can be tailored to
meet your schedule, and we offer the option of having the testing done
at your location. As our fees are based on
several criteria, please either call or email us for pricing. We work
with each candidate to fit their schedule. We have classes from
1 to 20 students.
All testing is done by our General Manager, David Nelson who is CCO
Certified in Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes, Lattice Boom Truck Cranes,
Large Telescopic Boom Cranes, Small Telescopic Boom Cranes, Tower
Cranes and Overhead Cranes.
While there is no set order in which the tests must be taken, both
must be taken within 12 months of each other. Certification is good 5
years.
OSHA compliance safety and health officers have recognized The
National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators
certification as independent verification that certified crane
operators have met OSHA's training requirements.
